What you do.
- Build the data layer.
- You turn signals from PLCs and sensors into a clean data layer: Unified Namespace, historians and time series with clear names and meaning.
- From signal to insight.
- You build models and dashboards for OEE, quality and energy that operators and managers actually use.
- Pragmatic AI.
- Detecting anomalies, predicting wear, building an assistant that reads machine data via MCP. AI advises, people decide, and AI never controls the machine directly.
- Validate on the factory floor.
- You check your model against the machine and with the operator, not just in a notebook.
- Explain it clearly.
- You translate what the model sees into language a production manager understands.
What you bring.
- Strong Python and SQL skills.
- You're comfortable with data pipelines, time series and cleaning up messy data.
- Experience with ML or LLMs.
- You've put something into production, big or small, and know what comes next.
- Curious about machines.
- You don't need to program a PLC, but you want to know where the data comes from.
